Changes to the Telephone System

We have recently changed our telephone system in line with the proposals from the health board and we have found this beneficial to both staff and patients. Please listen to the messages at the start when you call the practice number and follow the instructions this has already saved patients from be held in a que on the phone or calling back several times.

Texting Service, Online booking and Online Repeat Prescriptions

We are now pleased to be able to offer online order of repeat prescriptions, please ask at the reception desk for an access code to allow you to use this service. PLEASE DO NOT PHONE THE SURGERY TO CHECK THAT YOUR PRESCRIPTION IS READY. PLEASE NOMINATE A PHARMACY FOR YOU PRESCRIPTION TO BE SENT TO THANK YOU.

We have also introduced a texting service, if we have your mobile number you will be sent a reminder of any booked appointments within the practice.

We will also send you a text message if we would like you to make a routine appointment with the doctor or nurse, anything urgent will be done by a phone call. Please make sure you keep your mobile number up to date and sign a consent form.
